Victory
As he waits for his turn, he laces up his shoes,
He is pumped, he is ready, he's not going to lose,
The match before him is over, it is now his time,
He shakes his head, cracks his neck, and steps to the line.
The wrestler thinks, Will I win, Will I Win?
His opponent, willing to shake, extens out his hand,
With the look of determination, he reaches to accept the demand.
His head is clear, his body shakes, he is a bomb ready to blow,
He wants it so bad, you don't even know
The wrestler thinks, I've gotta win, I've gotta win.
The whistle sounds, the match begins,
Single leg, double leg, and on their feet again.
Both boys work hard, both boys are good,
But only one will win, only one knew he could.
The wrestler thinks, Im gonna win, I'm gonna Win.
The second period is over, the wrestler chooses bottom,
The whistle tweets, both boys struggle, reversal he got him.
On his back, count the lights, he fights to hold him down,
His opponent flips and bridges, but the last thing he does is frown.
The wrestler thinks, I Won, I Won!
One, two, three, the mat is slapped,
The gym full of fans starts to clap,
Very tired, both boys stand there.
The wrestler's hand is raised in the air.
The wrestler thinks, I knew I could do it, I did it!
I WON!
